Vacancy: On-call staff Maastricht Store

Do you have a love for the city of Maastricht, are you customer-oriented and are you (preferably) available on weekends and holidays? Then we are looking for you! As on-call worker, you and your colleagues will ensure that the Maastricht Store is the place where visitors and residents of the city and region can go for information, inspiration and local products.

About us

The Maastricht Store is part of the city marketing organisation Stichting Maastricht Marketing. Within our organisation, we are committed to putting Maastricht on the map regionally, nationally and internationally as a beautiful destination to visit, but also as a fine place to live, work and study. We are guardians of the Maastricht brand and actively contribute to the leisure economy in the city and region. We do so through online and offline channels, including the Maastricht Store as a physical channel.

What will you do in this position?

You help visitors and residents of Maastricht with enthusiasm and passion. You do this through the following daily activities:

  • Presenting and selling unique Maastricht merchandise, special products from local makers and the finest regional products from our immediate surroundings;
  • Providing cultural and tourist information about Maastricht and its surroundings to (international) visitors and locals;
  • Inspire visitors and residents to (re)discover Maastricht & region.

You have/are:

  • A heart for Maastricht;
  • Customer-oriented;
  • Hospitable;
  • A team player;
  • Fluent in several languages;
  • Willing to work weekends and school holidays.

What do we offer?

A flexible on-call position in a challenging working environment with an enjoyable atmosphere and an enthusiastic team. The salary is graded in scale 3 of our job description, supplemented by holiday allowance and a year-end bonus as part of your hourly wage.
