Licence to use media bank
All photos in this digital image bank are the property of Maastricht Marketing and all photos are subject to copyright. Below you will find the rules that apply when using the photos. If you still have questions after reading these rules or if you have any doubts about the use of the photos, please contact Maastricht Marketing via pr@maastricht-marketing.nl/en at all times. This way we avoid problems and know for sure that the photos are used for their intended purpose.
The use of this image bank is exclusive. This means that only the participants of Marketing Maastricht have the right to use the photos under conditions.
- The photos may only be used in relation to promotional expressions of the city of Maastricht.
- In doing so, the photos may serve to support the actual (commercial) product and/or service.
- If you wish to use the photos for the sole purpose of supporting the actual (commercial) product and/or service, for example by printing and selling products with only our photos or similar situations, you must request prior written permission from Maastricht Marketing at pr@maastricht-marketing.nl/en.
- The photos may be made public in one-off circulation articles in newspapers and magazines with a maximum circulation of 10,000.
- For multiple editions and/or exceeding this maximum circulation of 10,000, written permission must be obtained in advance from Maastricht Marketing via pr@maastricht-marketing.nl/en.
- Photos may be made public in television programmes.
- Photos may be made public on websites.
- Photos may be made public through social media channels such as (but not exclusively) Facebook and Instagram.
- As long as you are a member, you may use the photos.
It is never allowed to reproduce the photos and/or provide them to third parties without the prior written permission of Maastricht Marketing. This permission should be requested via pr@maastricht-marketing.nl/en.
- Changes, in any form, are prohibited.
- Exceptions to the ban on making changes are changes for the purpose of proportions necessary for the use in relation to the chosen medium. This explicitly does not include making changes for personal taste.
- There is no extra cost for using the photos. A contribution of €20 for the use of the image bank is already included in the annual membership fee.
- With every use of the photo, the name of the licensor (Maastricht Marketing) and the name of the photographer must be mentioned.
- This listing should be done in the following manner: Mention of 'Maastricht Marketing/name of photographer', to be placed directly below the photo.
- The name of the photographer is last mentioned in the file name of the photo.
- If you wish to deviate from the method of listing as described here (for example, the listing not directly below the photograph), you must request prior written permission from Maastricht Marketing at pr@maastricht-marketing.nl/en.
Maastricht Marketing has the right to prohibit and remove the use of the photograph(s) if Maastricht Marketing is of the opinion that the user has not acted in accordance with (the spirit of) this agreement. Maastricht Marketing is not liable for any direct or indirect damages suffered by user due to the removal of the photograph(s).
