Dutch Dance Days as a reason for a multi-day visit

| | |

From 2 to 8 October, Maastricht will once again be in the spotlight for the Dutch Dance Days. During the 29th edition, more than a hundred performances, premieres and other activities will take place across the city. Every year, the festival attracts visitors from across the country, thereby enhancing Maastricht’s cultural profile.

For Maastricht Marketing, the festival also presents an opportunity to encourage visitors to stay in the city for longer. Together with the Dutch Dance Days and with the support of Maastricht City Council, we are therefore focusing our efforts on encouraging multi-day, weekday visits. The campaign not only focuses on the festival programme itself, but also showcases what else Maastricht has to offer in terms of culture, gastronomy and accommodation.

Campaign and content creators

In the run-up to the festival, we ran online display and social media campaigns. We also secured targeted media coverage in *Nouveau* and *EW Magazine*. These articles link a visit to the Dutch Dance Days to a wider city break in Maastricht.

We also invited various content creators to experience the city during the Dutch Dance Days. They combine dance with, amongst other things, gastronomy, culture and other places in the city, and share that experience with their followers.
