Press trip New Dutch
On 19 and 20 November 2025, we received journalists from Germany, Belgium and Sweden in Maastricht during the New Dutch press trip. New Dutch is a nationwide initiative that makes the innovative, creative power of the Netherlands visible. Maastricht Marketing is one of the partners, together with Brightlands and 15 other regions.
The good life - and innovation
We organised this press trip together with NBTC and Brightlands. The two-day programme combined the good life and innovation: from a city tour and a visit to Grainlabs at the Bisschopsmolen to meetings with 'tear doctor' Marlies Gijs. Day two saw glimpses of companies on the Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus, including Maastro, ReGEN Biomedical and Maastricht Instruments. Of course, we also let the journalists experience the gastronomy and magical winter atmosphere. The first publications have now appeared on NRZ, Einfachraus and SvD Näringsliv; the rest will follow in the coming months.
